  • Deposition Date: 2003/12/03
  • Description: NADPH dependent oxidoreductase.
  • Solution Method: X-RAY
  • Start: 1 End: 351 Sequence Type: Complete
  • Fold Function: Zinc dependent dehydrogenase
  • Fold Summary: 1-st domain Class: all beta. GroES-like fold. Contains barrel, partly opened; n*=4, S*=8; meander. 2-nd domain Class: alpha/beta. NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold. Core: 3 layers, a/b/a; parallel beta-sheet of 6 strands, order 321456.
  • Fold Description: Provided the closest structural template for COG family COG2130 (putative NADP-dependent oxidoreductases). A putative oxidoreductase from mouse. By sequence and structure similarity belongs to a family of zinc-dependent dehydrogenases, but its exact function is unknown. A two domain structure, with a Rossmann-fold NAD(P) binding domain and a Beta barrel domain with a meander fold. Strong structural similarity (# angstrom rmsd over 250 amino acids) to quinoneoxidoreductases, such as 1qor or NAD(P) dependent alcohol dehydrogenases, such as 2ohx, despite very low sequence similiarty (~10% sequence id).
