The Joint Center for Structural Genomics (JCSG), funded by the NIH-NIGMS Protein Structure Initiative
(http://www.nigms.nih.gov/psi/), is a collaboration between the Scripps Research Insitute,
University of California at San Diego, Stanford Univeristy, Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory,
Genomics Institute of the Novaritis Research Foundation and several other institutions.
The main goal of the Center is to advance automated high-throughput methods for all stages of macromolecular structure determination including target selection, protein expression, purification, crystallization, crystal manipulation, structure determination and data management. Target selection will focus on novel cell signaling proteins from C. elegans, human, mouse and Drosophila. |

| The JCSG is currently seeking experienced, highly skilled protein biochemists, X-ray crystallographers, molecular biologists, scientific software developers, scientific/technical programmers and technical support personnel.
