SDC JOB OPENING

The Structure Determination Core (SDC) at the Joint Center for Structural Genomics (JCSG) has an immediate opening for a scientist level protein crystallographer. The JCSG is one of four large-scale structural genomics centers funded through the Protein Structure Initiative of the National Institutes of Health (see http://www.nigms.nih.gov/psi/).

The SDC is based at Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource, in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. SDC is responsible for all JCSG activities from receipt of frozen crystals through to the complete refinement of PDB ready coordinates. SDC is working to streamline and automate many of the structure determination steps. SDC works closely with the JCSG Crystallomics Core (protein/crystal production) and Bioinformatics Core (target selection/tracking). See http://www.jcsg.org/ for more information.
